Andrew Steward

Adventure Therapy Director

Andrew grew up in southern Illinois in a town just outside of St. Louis called Edwardsville. He spent most his young life playing baseball and soccer. Andrew was able to achieve his goal and played soccer in college and then took it to the professional level. Andrew really enjoys the outdoors and one of his favorite memories is living in Colorado and working on the top of a mountain. Some of his hobbies include weight lifting and crocheting. Andrew's favorite quote is "There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going". He tries to live his life by this and uses it to help influence our students in their journeys through life.

Micheal Winters

Adventure Therapy

Micheal has known since he was a teenager that his calling was working with youth. Micheal was able to spend time at a boy's home in Phoenix to observe which intrigued his interest in the field even more. At the age of 21, Micheal became of age eligible to work at Calo and immediately applied and became a Residential Coach. He worked as a Residential Coach and stayed actively involved in Adventure Therapy. After 5 years in Residential working as a Coach, Shift lead, and Team lead he has joined the Adventure Therapy department full time. In his free time, he enjoys taking his two daughter hiking, fishing, and camping.

Geoffrey Richardson

Boys Adventure Therapy

Geoff is a native to the Lake of the Ozarks. Family comes first in his life, second to time at home on his farm. After family and home Geoff spends his time in his community leading his local Church as Pastor. He also enjoys community involvement and is active in local government acting as Mayor for his local City Council. His passion for being part of change is in everything that he does.

Liz Albert

Adventure Therapy support staff

Greetings everyone! Liz was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri. She graduated from JCHS and moved to Springfield, Missouri after high school to attend art school and obtain the degree in Graphic Design she has today. Liz spends most of her time outdoors and enjoys the simplicity of nature with the countless activities it has to offer. Hiking great trails, skiing on fresh powder, camping in the woods, kayaking down the Current River, bicycling the Katy Trail and exploring new places is a couple of hobbies she enjoys. Still working as a freelance graphic designer, she is excited to start a new chapter in her life with the Adventure Therapy team that embodies exactly what she loves the most in life – working with the youth, being creative, the opportunity to grow as a person, having a positive outlook and staying active!
