As this day of Thanksgiving winds down…

Dear Calo Family,

Thanksgiving always causes me to hit the pause button and remember that to be thankful for what we have is more fulfilling than recounting what we may want. At Calo we want things, like any company. However, what we have is a great group of families and students to serve, and wonderful coworkers to whom we owe a huge gratitude of thanks.

I have many blessings I am thankful for but the most important of them are the people in my life. I am thankful for my family, my dear friends and my 154 coworkers. I am thankful for the 62 great families that have currently entrusted their child in our care, and the close 300 that have done so over the years. I am grateful for the wonderfully resilient students we get to serve. I am thankful for the privilege of serving Calo and the opportunity to build on the vision, determination and leadership of Ken, Landon, Nicole and Rob

Our new logo tells a story of people and connection: with our parents and students, referring professionals, our community and each other. I believe these connections make us who we are at Calo. It is through these connections, through this family, that we can leverage our collective and unique talents, ideas and personalities as we continue to profoundly change lives and create joy.

To all of my teammates at Calo: Every step of this journey has been gratifying because I know the passion you bring to work is making a difference. Your dedication to delivering best treatment makes Calo an incredible place; together we are creating something unique.Your hard work and perseverance are helping shape Calo into what we are today, and what we will become tomorrow. Thank you for all you do, every day, to make Calo a leader inthe field. Thank you for believing in the power of growth to make Calo great, thank you for investing in trusting relationships to make Calo a family, and thank you for giving yourself to the service of others to make Calo special.

Thank you to the parents we serve and to the referring professionals that make all of this possible. We would not be where we are today without the trust you place in Calo on a daily basis. While we will never be able to express our full gratitude, it is our goal to provide the best service possible and prove our gratitude through restoring trust in your family.

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. And, a special thank you to those of you who are caring for our students and families throughout these holidays.

With Many Thanks and Deep Gratitude,

Alex Stavros
