Canine Therapy Director

Ariel Twyman has 5 years of experience working with Calo. She first experienced working as a frontline staff coaching students and soon after worked with the academic director as an assistant registrar. Ariel then sought after her true calling in the Canine Therapy Department working closely with the Calo programs Canine therapy Director for 3 years and was later promoted to the Lake Ozark Canine Therapy Director in 2017. Ariel' s passion is with helping our clients live and learn experientially through the use of our CASA model, Animal Assisted Therapy, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy.

Canine Therapy Assistant

Jess joined the canine therapy department in 2017 after spending time getting know the students on the front lines as a coach. Jess is passionate about family as well as well as the work we do to restore families every day. Since moving into canine therapy she has experienced great joy in being able to connect with families through the use of canines, and become more creatively engaged through her love of animals! Jess works primarily with our teen and preteen girls, doing training, grooming, and helping our students become more affective animal handlers as they work on transferable attachment.
