Colleen began working with Calo in July of 2016 as a residential coach and started working with the neurotherapy team in July of 2018. Colleen was born and raised at the Lake of the Ozarks and during her downtime enjoys the beauty the lake area has to offer. Colleen is an ardent animal lover so working at Calo with the students make healthy attachments with the goldens has been a dream. Colleen is a second generation Calo employee, following in her mother’s footsteps towards compassion, empathy, and a calling. Colleen’s interest in psychology and behavioral health has helped to reinforce her long-held interests in human development. Colleen is currently finishing up her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and is interested in the role art therapy could introduce to Calo Programs and hopes to one day integrate neurotherapy and art therapy.
