Dan is the U.S. History and Government teacher at Calo. He was born and raised in the city of St. Louis, Missouri where he received a bachelors degree in film studies from Webster University and his bachelors in education and certification to teach from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Dan believes the key to teaching successfully is to treat students with respect and empathy, and Calo is a great place to exercise those beliefs. The small class sizes are also a perfect opportunity to develop trusting relationships with students that ultimately helps facilitate their education. Outside of teaching, Dan enjoys rock music, playing bass guitar, listening to podcasts, and seeing movies the old fashion way…in the movie theater.
