Josh Nordean, M.S., L.P.C.


Josh joined the Calo team in 2016 when he relocated with his family from Tulsa, OK to join the mission and vision of Calo. Since 2001, Josh has worked with teens and preteens in a variety of settings as a teacher, coach, youth mentor, case manager, pastor, crisis intervention specialist and therapist. Josh graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University with a M.S. in Community Counseling. Josh worked for two and half years as a therapist on the Teen Boys Clinical Team before moving a the Residential Director position, later transitioning to his current role of Director of Clinical Services. Josh has a heart for providing a CASA experience for staff at Calo as they work to provide a safe place for students and their families to heal. Josh brings his experience working with students and families from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Josh is excited when using his therapeutic and management experience with staff to optimize the therapeutic value of the Calo experience for each student. When not working, Josh enjoys anything related to sports and being outdoors and loves spending time with his wife, three sons and two boxers.
