Shellie joined the Calo Health Services team in October of 2016 after relocating to the lake area from the flatlands of the bootheel of Missouri. She has over 12 years of administrative experience and values organization and hard work. Shellie feels very fortunate to be part of Calo and to be able to form relationships with students by exhibiting empathy and understanding. She also has a particular fondness for the K-9 program after witnessing the therapeutic value the dogs hold with our students. Shellie has 5 grown children and is expecting her first grandbaby in a few months. She is a recent newlywed after 15 years of single parenthood. She resides at the lake with her youngest daughter, her husband Mark and their 2 dogs, Storm and Thunder. Shellie and her family enjoy the peacefulness of lake life as well as swimming, fishing, and wildlife. Her hobbies are plentiful with woodworking, quilting, cooking, and reading and she aspires to have her own book published some day.
