Helping Families with the Cost of Treatment

Good behavioral healthcare for adolescents struggling with issues of emotional regulation, trauma and attachment is not cheap. With the American economy in its current state, many of our potential and current families find themselves struggling to find a way to provide for their child’s treatment. Calo continues to actively pursue ways to support additional sources of funding for our families. One way Calo does this is by becoming a preferred provider for a variety of mental/behavioral healthcare organizations. Calo is currently in the process of becoming a provider for the following organizations: AETNA, Anthem BCBS, United Behavioral Healthcare, CIGNA, TN Medicaid, MN Medicaid, and Alaska First Health. Becoming a provider for these types of organizations helps supplement families’ funding by allowing families to utilize their insurance benefits at a higher level (in-network) or by allowing families access to insurance benefits that otherwise would be inaccessible.

Besides contracting with healthcare organizations, Calo is also able to offer families who qualify the ability to reduce their monthly payments by spreading these payments out over a 20-40 month period based on the student’s length of stay.
