Health Services Director
Apryl grew up in a small town in rural Missouri. After graduating from high school she attended Missouri Baptist Medical Center School of Nursing in St. Louis, MO. She became a Registered Nurse in June 2000. Apryl and her family moved to Lake of the Ozarks in June 2008. She has one son, Owen and one daughter, Olivia. Apryl and her family love the outdoors and exploring the adventures that Lake of the Ozarks has to offer. She joined the CALO Health Services team in 2014 as the Quality Assurance nurse for the department. In July 2016 she was promoted to the Director of Health Services. She has a passion to help students and their families by utilizing our CASA model and living our core values.
Katrina grew up in a small town outside of Panama City, Florida. Her family relocated to Missouri 15 years ago to be closer to family and has resided at the Lake of the Ozarks since. After graduating high school she attended Columbia College and received her Associates in Science in Nursing. She became a Registered Nurse in May 2013. She has 1 son who is 4 years old. Katrina and her family share a passion for camping, hiking, canoeing, and anything outdoors.
Paula Ogden has worked at Calo for 9yrs. She started as a residential coach and was in this position for four years. Paula has been married 27 years and has five children and seven grandkids. She lives on a farm and loves to garden, sew, run, but most of all Paula loves being with family.
Paula has had various positions working with youth; She has been working with the youth in her church for many years. Girls camp approximately. 15 years, and helped in the scouting while her boys were growing up. She now works with the women in one of the biggest women organizations in the world.
Kaley Amptmeyer, N/A
Kayley was born and raised in near Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Lake of the Ozarks in 2013 to be closer to her family. She has worked at Calo since December of 2014. She started out as a coach on the flooring working with the Teen girls. Kayley then moved to the clinic in January of 2018 where she accepted the position as a medical assistant. She has a background in phlebotomy. Kayley is really passionate about family and loves to spend time with her family. She tries to go back to Chicago to visit her three little brothers and her dad and to of course get the best pizza. Kayley lives in Osage Beach with her dog named Zeus.
Quality Assurance Clerk, Health Services
Shellie joined the Calo Health Services team in October of 2016 after relocating to the lake area from the flatlands of the bootheel of Missouri. She has over 12 years of administrative experience and values organization and hard work.
Shellie feels very fortunate to be part of Calo and to be able to form relationships with students by exhibiting empathy and understanding. She also has a particular fondness for the K-9 program after witnessing the therapeutic value the dogs hold with our students.
Shellie has 5 grown children and is expecting her first grandbaby in a few months. She is a recent newlywed after 15 years of single parenthood. She resides at the lake with her youngest daughter, her husband Mark and their 2 dogs, Storm and Thunder. Shellie and her family enjoy the peacefulness of lake life as well as swimming, fishing, and wildlife. Her hobbies are plentiful with woodworking, quilting, cooking, and reading and she aspires to have her own book published some day.
