Tony Haley, Shift Lead

Tony Haley was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois.  He was adopted at the age of 13 by his biological grandmother.  Tony was very involved in sports during high school including football, hockey and baseball.  He enjoyed skateboarding, biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding and also enjoys any extreme sports.

Tony was a volunteer Fire Fighter for 7 years while he was working towards his Fire Science degree.  He worked in the Anesthesia department in the operating room of Lake Regional Hospital working mainly in the Open Heart thoracic surgery department.

Tony has worked with several childrens programs such as tutoring special education students.  He says his main goals for his career have always been to help people.  In some career choices he says he has not felt the fulfillment that he gets interacting and working with teenagers and children.

Through his childhood he says, I struggled with making the right choices for the right reasons.  Having learned about making the right choices on my own makes me feel privileged to help teach the students at Calo.  I enjoy helping our students to make good choices and helping to guide them along the right path.

I plan to continue my education in Psychology with my main focus on children and/or relationships.
